Wassily Kandinsky (1866 \u2013 1944)<\/h3>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Le peintre russe Wassily Kandinsky est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme l&rsquo;un des pr\u00e9curseurs de l&rsquo;art abstrait. Alors qu&rsquo;il se consacrait encore \u00e0 l&rsquo;expressionnisme dans ses premi\u00e8res \u0153uvres, il se tourna de plus en plus vers l&rsquo;abstraction \u00e0 partir de 1908. En 1911, il fonde avec Franz Marc \u00e0 Munich le groupe d&rsquo;artistes \u00ab\u00a0Der Blaue Reiter\u00a0\u00bb, dans lequel les artistes peignent moins d&rsquo;apr\u00e8s la nature r\u00e9elle et veulent plut\u00f4t suivre leur voix int\u00e9rieure. Dans les \u0153uvres ult\u00e9rieures de Kandinsky, le figuratif se dissout dans les couleurs et les formes. Piet Mondrian (1872 \u2013 1944)<\/h3>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Il est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme le fondateur du n\u00e9oplasticisme, un \u00ab\u00a0art id\u00e9al\u00a0\u00bb r\u00e9duit \u00e0 l&rsquo;essentiel : lorsque le N\u00e9erlandais Piet Mondrian d\u00e9couvrit l&rsquo;art cubiste de Georges Braque et Pablo Picasso \u00e0 Paris en 1911, ils l&rsquo;inspir\u00e8rent \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper son propre langage formel abstrait. Avec le groupe d&rsquo;artistes \u00ab\u00a0De Stijl\u00a0\u00bb, Mondrian \u00e9labora un nouvel art \u00e0 partir de 1917 : il cr\u00e9a des peintures, des meubles et de l&rsquo;architecture qui se limitaient aux couleurs primaires rouge, bleu et jaune ainsi qu&rsquo;aux non-couleurs blanc et noir et qui \u00e9taient travers\u00e9s par des lignes horizontales et verticales. Le n\u00e9oplasticisme \u00e9tait n\u00e9! Kazimir Malevich (1878 \u2013 1935)<\/h3>\n<p>N\u00e9 \u00e0 Kiev, Kazimir Malevich a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 son propre style abstrait, le supr\u00e9matisme. Dans son manifeste \u00ab\u00a0Du cubisme au supr\u00e9matisme\u00a0\u00bb paru en 1915, il revendiquait une peinture absolue sans objet, r\u00e9duite aux formes g\u00e9om\u00e9triques de base, le rectangle, le triangle et le cercle.
